- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Running jobs and making copies of released jobs for multiple areas and positions in the plant for production.
- Print part tags used to identify individual project parts and or pieces and match to paperwork.
- Entering all welder and fitter information into weld inspection program.
- Assist in compiling production tons, this is daily recording tons into BomsNet that have been produced. Used to calculate bonuses.
- Calculating weights and price from Vulcraft deck accessories to be run on Trim Line.
- Copying and distributing information related to component and QSR orders so they can be produced in a timely manner.
- Assist in calculating bonuses for all production lines, including Maintenance. Comparing tons produced to man hours worked in Pits.
- Assist in reporting production reports to MBMA, bonus reports, piece counts, etc.
- Create batch run for weekly runs of purlins and girts.
- Assist with coverage in other positions.

- Operation and Control - Controlling administrative functions. Includes knowing Microsoft systems.
