We are looking for you to join our team as a Production Controller based out of San Diego, CA.

What You'll Get To Do:

• Tracks inventory levels and monitors inventory in WIP, On-Hold, MRB & In-Inspection locations.

• Works with material planning to ensure materials are ordered in time to support Scheduling & Operations needs.

• Works closely with Shop Floor Supervisors for optimized WIP Flow.

• Issues scrapped and OBS material through MRP/ERP systems.

• Processes Parts Replacement Requisition.

• Higher Level Work Order Releases.

• Scrap Material Handler.

• Delivers hardware to the next step.

• Problem solving and research.

• Receives Sustainment Modules and moves into WIP for repairs.

• Position requires 80% of time on shop floor coordinating and controlling product flow and 20% of time updating systems to ensure accurate records.

• This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead.

• Ideal candidate is a team player and works well at multitasking.

This requisition may be filled as a Production Controller 2 or Production Controller 3.

Basic Qualifications for level 2:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Material Expediting experience.

• Experience with SAP/S4 Hana & EWI (Solumina) system to track parts through production to meet customer demand and set priorities for Work In Process (WIP).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security Clearance.

• Ability to obtain SAP access.

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Material Expediting experience.

• Experience with SAP/S4 Hana & EWI (Solumina) system to track parts through production to meet customer demand and set priorities for Work In Process (WIP).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security Clearance.

• Ability to obtain SAP access.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Secret Security Clearance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with SAP/S4Hana.

Salary Range: $42,000 - $70,000

Salary Range 2: $50,000 - $83,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
