Job Description
- Req#: R10158713
- Timely movement of hardware between work cells and induction of field hardware by capturing condition status and updating the system of record.
- Utilize SAP and other internal tracking systems to manage all production and repair orders that support Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Collaborate with multiple organizations to ensure daily priorities support weekly/monthly sales plan. Including Supervisors, Engineering, Operations, Program management, Technicians, Operators, Mission Assurance, and
- Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments and or work cells.
- Assists in determining shortages, and initiate action to correct these deficiencies.
- Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert leadership regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with +1 years of manufacturing experience or production control or 5+ years of Production Control or manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
- Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Strong Excel background
- General understanding of continuous process improvement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to move stock/inventory/materials around the manufacturing floor and various business units.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors with 3 years related experience.
- Knowledge of SAP similar ERP software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing work flow and MRP systems or similar.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Production Controller in Sykesville, Maryland.This position will be responsible for the following:Salary Range: $44,321.00 - $101,142.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
