- Work alongside Sourcing Manager in finding products from domestic and international suppliers
- Work with Responsible Sourcing for social compliance and quality control standards from vendor
- Create or validate quotes per approved costing
- Log and track orders following import process to ensure on-time delivery
- Work with Design Team to coordinate the total packaging process (focus on GT Private Brands)
- Approve quality of samples in various stages of production
- Review PO inspection reports for production accuracy, consistency and quality
- Prepare import quote sheets;
- Daily communication with overseas vendors;
- Follow up pre-production samples and shipment samples, lab dip and bulk fabric;
- Follow up on shipping status to ensure goods are delivered on time;
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or related program);
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in retail (with Soft goods import production an asset);
- Understanding of fabrication;
- Strong computer skills – Intermediate Excel a must and AS/400 an asset;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work with reports and make suggestions/recommendations based on available data;
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints;
- Strong command of the English language is required.

The Production Coordinator position is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to further their career in the Retail Soft home industry.
You will work alongside Global Sourcing Manager and Category Managers and collaborate with Designers on packaging; The production coordinator will be responsible for communicating with factories, following-up on lab dips, pre-production samples, etc., involved in resolving any production problems and creating import quote.
