Job Description

Review production and downtime with detailed facility reviews
Develop and implement long term equipment efficiency initiatives and gathering system optimization to maximize value
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and/or new process engineering applications and methodologies
Collaborate with field and Remote Operation Centre (ROC) Engineers on facility troubleshooting and optimization opportunities
Lead bad actor reviews and provide technical guidance on Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations
Monitor, analyze and forecast compressor station data trends and downtime to identify opportunities for potential optimization
Participate in compressor station design and model reviews, HAZOPs, and strategy planning for future expansion projects
Completion of an Engineering degree, or an accredited Technologist diploma, within the Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical disciplines
More than 5 - 10 years prior relevant oil and gas experience focused in production engineering
Exposure to natural gas operations including processing facilities and rotating equipment complemented by field experience is preferred
Experience in BC operations and Oil and Gas Commission regulations would be an asset
Production monitoring and analysis software such as Seeq, SCADA, PI
Independent work ethic and ability to self-start on new initiatives

THE ROLE:
We’re expanding our Production team and have an incredible opportunity for a Production Engineer, located in Calgary, AB. In this dynamic role, as the subject matter expert, you will provide technical guidance that focuses on delivering outstanding results across all assets. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting Production Operations, Development, and Marketing, specifically in the areas of compressor station optimization, rotating equipment analysis, and process-focused technical support.
