- In consultation with the Planning & Resource Manager and Chief Engineer prepare work packs for aircraft maintenance in H40.
- Responsible and main point of contact for all airport and hangar movement requirements, taking their authority from the Check Manager and Chief Engineer.
- Accept responsibility for checking the integrity of all work completed is to a high standard and is in accordance with the company procedures and EASA Part 145 requirements.
- Responsible to ensure all work completed meets company process and NAA regulatory requirements and responsible for the technical oversite of work area.
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with the those carrying out the maintenance activities and also those carrying out activities within the dock office matrix team.
- Assist the Check Manager, Chief Engineer and Licensed Aircraft Engineers to resolve issues with maintenance activities that could affect daily on-time delivery.
- Maintain a disciplined approach and identify issues with returned tasks and documents and the staff allocated to those tasks and documents, escalating any persistent issues as required.
- Responsible for the continued duty of care and safety of peers within the hangar and line environment when working in that area, drive and embed a just culture.
- Embrace and be responsible for implementing company safety requirements.
- Ideally attended a familiarisation course or experience of the of Boeing 737NG/B737 Max.
- Up to date with Human Factors, EWIS, SFAR88 training.
- Understanding of the Safety Management System requirements.
- Good at building & growing internal and external customer relationships.
- Good knowledge of EASA part-145 regulations.
- Good facilitator/communicator verbal and written.
- Computer literate to a high standard especially word, excel, AMOS.
- Flexible in there working hours to meet the demands of the group airlines.
- Meet DFT requirements to hold Airside pass.

The Engineering and Maintenance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.
As Production Engineer you will carry out the preparation and support for H40 Part 145 planning functions within the document control office to support the base maintenance aircraft input. They will also support daily the Check Manager and Chief Licensed Aircraft Engineer to deliver the aircraft maintenance schedule, task cards and schedule and reschedule, schedule and defect rectification work orders.
Accountable for the efficiency and cleanliness of the document control office, manage the flow of staff within the document control office .
In this role, you’ll report to the Check Manager Hangar 40 / Planning & Resource Manager Hangar 61.
