      Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Production Intern to join our Interstates team in Sioux Center, IA.This role will provide direct support to our Interfab (prefabrication shop), as defined in the primary job duties section, below. An ideal candidate will be results driven, safety-minded, and work well with a team. Interstates seeks ambitious, innovative individuals, with the ability to grow and maintain value-added relationships with our team and external customers.


      Responsibilities

      Responsibilities:

      • Reading blueprints
      • Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material
      • Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches
      • Bending and threading conduit
      • Other duties may be assigned

      Qualifications

      Qualifications:

      • Excellent verbal communication
      • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment and build effective relationships
      • Display a positive attitude
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Be results driven and safety minded
      • Ability to routinely lift 50-75lbs

      Travel: This position will be located in our Sioux Center, IA office and will not require any travel.
