Production - Machine OperatorPrideStaff is proud to partner with a prominent company in the Arden area who is looking for a Machine Operator to assist in manufacturing and production. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position Monday through Friday with opportunities for overtime.In this position you will perform production activities that require the operation of machinery and equipment and understand the production process and the quality goals of the company to help achieve customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate is focused and attentive with basic PC knowledge and experience with operating machinery in a production and assembly setting, is willing to learn, and doesn't mind doing repetitive tasks that are essential to the foundation of the manufacturing process.Responsibilities:•Read and understand operator work instructions.•Run CNC mills or Lathes including changing tool offsets & tool changes in machines.•Operate equipment in accordance with instructions and ensure safe operation of assigned equipment.•Inspect small part features.•Maintain and report production counts.•Maintain a clean and safe work area.Requirements:•Strong attention to detail, good vision (see details of objects up close), good hand-eye coordination.•Ability to understand basic instructions and do basic arithmetic calculations.•Frequent mental and visual concentration is required while waiting on machines to complete cycles, inspection of parts, etc.•Requires constant attention to prevent injury to self and co-workers and damage to equipment.•Requires standing, repeated reaching and twisting, and hand movement throughout entire shift.•Professionalism, good work ethic, willingness to learn, quick learner.•Works well with others.•Ability to read/listen carefully to follow instructions and procedures.•Requires lifting and moving materials of up to 30 lbs.•Works in an environment that may be uncomfortable, dusty, and loud.
