Job Description

- Ensure to follow Life Saving Rules all the time
- Carry out daily safety checks for all machines and equipment in the assigned area of responsibility and fill in daily check sheets
- Follow the ISO and HSE Procedures
- Carry out your weekly/ monthly safety audits
- Pre-batch the raw materials as per the picking list
- Transfer, check, and charge raw materials, control process materials, sampling, filling, maintain the process parameters such as temperature, machine speed)
- Ensure to follow Batch Card instructions
- Meeting with batch cycle time (Daily targets)
- Co ordinate with the team leader and make sure the machines are utilized to maximum capacity
- Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
- Drives forklift machines to stack and remove materials from the racks and transfer pans on the production floor
- Pick the finished goods
- Communicate technical breakdown and follow up the standard process
- All problems/issues are reported immediately to the Team Leader
- Support team leaders in business improvement projects.
- Compliance with 5S Housekeeping standards
- Secondary school education or equivalent / technical diploma
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in batch processing within a manufacturing environment.
- FLT license useful but not essential
- Basic command of spoken and written English

Job Purpose
To operate a wide range of machines for manufacturing and filling paint (e.g. bead mills, filling, labelling) as per agreed operational methods and standards and in line with Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment Policy to ensure 100% compliance with weekly production plan. This job is also expected to provide ad hoc guidance to Machine Operators where needed.
