  The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  

  As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Perform equipment set-up and troubleshooting
  • Perform daily inspections on forklifts as well as daily operation of forklifts
  • Maintain and keep work area clean
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Performs other duties as directed by the production supervisor or lead operator

  Your Skills and Expertise
  

  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Working any shift available, including, but not limited to first, second, or third
  • Willingness to work overtime, possible weekends and short and short notice shift coverage.

  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate forklifts or PIV’s

  Travel: No travel

  Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized

  Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  This posting is for a Production Operator position at 3M Midway. 3M anticipates that multiple openings for this position will occur over time. Qualified applicants may be considered as Production Operator openings occur at 3M Midway, and 3M will accept applications for up to 6 months from the posting date of this requisition.
