      YOU

      As a Production Painter, you will be responsible for working in a team-oriented environment while maintaining quality and production standards. This is a Swing shift position (3:45pm – 12:15am). This shift is eligible for a $1.50 shift differential.

      WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

      Responsible for hanging and packing parts on and off of the production paint line. Scanning and labeling of specials and finished goods while working at a fast pace is required. (65%)

      Material handling such as box making, pallet wrapping, adding paint, cleaning paint hooks, and routine paint line clean-up. (25%)

      Be responsible for quality checks of specials and finished goods. Working knowledge of hand tools such as protractors, squares, and tape measures as required within our quality process. (10%)

      DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

      If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

      • High School Diploma
      • Manufacturing production experience (2 years)
      • Sit down forklift certification (or ability to be certified)
      • Understanding how to read a tape measure, protractor, and square.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear. This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, fumes and/or noxious odors, toxic/caustic chemicals, dust, loud noise levels and moving mechanical parts.

      TRAVEL

      This position does not require travel.

      WORK STATUS & LOCATION

      This full-time, non-exempt, Union position is located in Stockton, CA.

      RELOCATION

      Relocation is not available for this position.

      PAY

      $18.00 / hour
