      About the role

      Are you ready to take the reins in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where precision meets innovation? We're looking for a dynamic Production Planner to drive the pulse of our manufacturing process—from finished goods to the packaging that brings them to life. In this critical role, you'll orchestrate everything from reviewing MRP data and generating work and purchase orders to fine-tuning production schedules and keeping logistics humming. Your strategic insights will help maintain a stellar 99%+ pack fill rate, streamline inventory at Logistics Centers, and ensure that our products flow seamlessly to customers.

      With responsibilities that span planning upstream and packaging production, coordinating product changes, and collaborating across teams—from Customer Service to Logistics—your influence will be felt in every shipment delivered. Success in this role is measured in tangible wins: pack fill rate targets met, inventory reductions achieved, and production volumes optimized.

      Your responsibilities

      • Review MRP data daily. Create and reschedule W/O's accordingly.
      • Maintain proper MRP planning code: safety stock, lead-times, planning fences, order policies, and batch min/max quantities.
      • Coordinate requirements for finished goods production and seek to optimize pack fill rate and finished goods inventory
      • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Material Planning, Logistics and Planning on any product changes, and new product introductions.
      • Plan rework, or process purges for rejected material.
      • Coordinates with Demand Planning and Materials Planning on discontinuation of finished goods.
      • Coordinate with bulk planner/scheduler on bulk availability.
      • Work with Material Planners to coordinate production schedule with packaging material availability.
      • Participates in selection of new hires to department.
      • Participates in determination of department goals.
      • Monitor material availability and schedule test runs for new products.
      • Resolve forecast deviation issues with Demand Planning.
      • Report on out of stock and distressed SKUs each week to Demand Planning and Customer Service.
      • Stay in constant communication with Demand Planning and Project Management to be aware of changes, strategies, promotions, new products, etc. that effect SKU's planned.

      The experience we're looking for

      • AS degree preferred + minimum 2 years in Manufacturing, Planning, or Purchasing
      • FMCG or pharmaceutical experience preferred
      • Proficient in MRP (Kinaxis preferred), SAP (Super User level), SCP processes
      • Strong grasp of manufacturing, machine capabilities, production planning
      • Skilled in line/vendor scheduling, capacity planning, procurement
      • Advanced in spreadsheets, charts, planning software
      • Strong communicator and influencer with a customer and team focus able to build effective cross-functional relationships
      • Organized, decisive, self-motivated
      • Proven track record in inventory management, schedule creation, issue resolution
      • Understanding of pharmaceutical documentation systems a plus

      Salary Range

      USD $66,000.00 - $100,000.00

      Hiring Range: 66,000 - 83,000

      Pay Transparency

      The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
