      Job Description

      We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Production Planning Engineer.

      Your contribution to something big:

      • Monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status
        updates to management and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers.
      • Create, modify, organize and manage production schedules according to demand and quality standards.
      • Closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.
      • Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
      • Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.
      • Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
      • Investigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions.
      • Collaborate with production, quality control, warehouse, engineering, purchasing, sales order management and other staff to minimize delays in production.
      • Evaluate suppliers or quality, timeliness and match according to goals
      • Determine parts requirements with the help of IT systems, monitor call-offs, and correct if necessary.
      • Determine or estimate the need for special parts, modifications, customer requests, etc.
      • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, OTD, performance etc.)

      Qualifications

      What distinguishes you:

      • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
      • Minimum 5 years experience as production planner.
      • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
        Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
      • Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems,
      • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication abilities
      • Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
