      The FleetPride Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing production schedules to ensure that manufacturing processes flow efficiently and that products are delivered on time. This role involves closely working with the production, warehouse, sales, supply, and demand planning departments to create schedules that optimize manufacturing resources, minimize costs, and meet customer demands.

      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Create detailed production schedules based on machine availability, labor capacity, material supply, and demand forecasts. Adjust schedules as necessary in response to production challenges or changes in customer priorities.
      • Work closely with the production, warehouse, and supply and demand planning departments to ensure that materials are available when needed and that finished goods are ready for delivery to customers.
      • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure that production can proceed as scheduled without unnecessary delays.
      • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to maximize the manufacturing process's efficiency and productivity.
      • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and production bottlenecks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate delays and ensure that production targets are met.
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to production schedules. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about schedule changes and their impacts.
      • Prepare and present reports on production progress and challenges. Use data to recommend improvements to production processes and scheduling techniques.
      • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to analyze and enhance the production scheduling process, driving greater efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility.
      • Perform other duties as required by Production Managers for the success of the site operations

      EDUCATION & TRAINING

      • High School Diploma required /Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
      • Proven experience as a Production Scheduler, Planner, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
      • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management principles.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

      KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

      • 5+ years of experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment
      • Proficiency with manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems, ERP software, and MS Office Suite.
      • This includes preparing formula-driven spreadsheets, spreadsheet charting, and database querying

      SKILLS & ABILITIES

      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
      • Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions.
      • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
      • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
      • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
      • Understanding and experience with supply chain processes, which will help identify teams to collaborate with to solve issues that arise on a day-to-day basis, as it relates to inventory control
      • Capable of detailed analytics, leveraging data from across the supply chain and multiple systems
      • Able to respond quickly to all issues with a resolution or mitigation plan to reduce the customer impact

      WORKING CONDITIONS

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      This role typically works in an office setting within a manufacturing plant. Will require occasional visits to the production floor, which involves exposure to the manufacturing environment.

      Must have the ability to work for long periods at a computer station

      The performance of this position may require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
