Job Description
- Req#: KN2356
- Coordinate, organize and schedule all componentry through Lead Hand to production lines
- Coordinate all bulk material to lines for production through the Compounding Supervisor
- Coordinate and transfer of stock to the warehouse through the Warehouse Supervisor and the porters
- Advise Maintenance Supervisor of changeovers, washouts, or concerns on the production lines
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for each production run (work orders, skid tickets, line leader sheets, time cards)
- Create and update daily and weekly production summaries
- Update production board daily
- Provide direction to all line employees as to their duties on all packaging lines
- Ensure timely start-ups of each line in the mornings and after changeovers
- Collect and review timecards, verify hours, authorize and forward for processing
- Maintain good housekeeping of packaging areas
- Interaction with the Quality Control department to ensure defect-free products and timely sign-off lines
- Ordering of manufacturing supplies and uniforms for operations people and maintaining budget documentation
- Maintain all safe working methods and procedures
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications are essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively interact with persons at all levels of an organization
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Initiative to investigate problems, develop solutions and obtain results
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Diploma/Degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience (including supervisory)

To supervise the production floor and all line employees, responsible for production output on all filling and labeling lines and to include repackaging and refurbishing; Ensure safe work practices are maintained within the department.
