      Your Opportunity as the Production Supervisor – Night Shift

      Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for leading the Production Operations at the Oxnard Fruit Processing Plant.

      Location: Oxnard, CA

      Work Arrangements:

      • 100% on-site, night shift during peak season
      • Required to adjust work schedule based on production needs. This includes long hours (six days a week, some holidays, etc.) during peak season.

      In this role you will:

      • Accountable for the daily operations and team performance.
      • Leads the daily team shift meetings, and operating team’s results review.
      • Actively participate in the Operational Excellence Systems and Heath, Safety, and Environment systems. Role models expected behaviors.
      • Accountable for daily team performance (Safety, Quality, Org. Capability).
      • Responsible for team development, including skills building, performance management, and developing a "flow to the work" culture.
      • Conducts on the job training for new employees, and annual OTJ re-training of seasonal employees.
      • Accountable for ensuring safe behaviors are executed by the team including adherence to HSE/GMP systems.
      • Accountable for driving to root cause and ensuring issue resolution.
      • Participates in technician performance assessments.
      • Must adapt quickly to changing supply and be able to effectively guide the team regarding those changes, while adhering to all applicable laws and policies.
      • Works with Assistant Supervisor/HR to accurately complete production and quality documentation, head counts and approve timecards.
      • Works closely with management, office, quality control, maintenance, and hourly personnel to achieve goals.
      • May relieve or assign relief to workers in the department.
      • Salary - $84K - $99K +bonus opportunities, salaried exempt position.

      What we are looking for:

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written.
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3 years of operations, manufacturing, or fruit processing experience.
      • Experience leading, teaching, or managing others effectively.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work and manage within team environment.

      • Ability to lead in a union environment.
      • Understands technical systems and terminology.

      • Ability to organize and prioritize actions to help meet plant objectives and long-term vision.
      • Ability to perform role and responsibilities in a safe manner
      • Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and may perform some cleaning duties
      • Able to work in areas of extreme temperatures (hot/cold) periodically
      • Able to travel 10%.
