      Job Description

      Summary:

      To plan, organize, implement, and control production in an organizational manner to ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory and costs are met on products that are produced effectively, efficiently, on time, within budget and in compliance with our customer expectations.


      Responsibilities:
      • Supervise and coordinate activities of associates to attain shift goals
      • Effectively communicate with peers, associates, and leadership with the goal of making the most efficient use of personnel and equipment
      • Produce quality parts for our customers, working on continuous improvement where needs exist
      • Work to minimize downtime
      • Foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation by leading and setting the example
      • Enforce policies, procedures, and systems
      • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the company's quality and safety policies/goals
      • Embrace, enforce and educate employees on the importance of maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
      • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
      • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems

      Qualifications

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field or equivalent work experience required
      • 3+ work experience in manufacturing required
      • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
      • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, Outlook, IMES a plus
      • Ability to plan, organize, and implement with attention to detail
      • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence others
      • Must be proactive in work assignments and enjoy fast paced work environment
      • Able to positively and effectively influence and disseminate information between Production and Management
