      Schedule:

      Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 5:30pm with availability to work some nights 5:30pm-5:30am

      The Opportunity

      The Production Supervisor - Compression Molding is responsible for the safe, hands-on operation of the compression molding equipment and the management of the production team accountable for the production and packaging of HydroChain chambers and related items. The supervisor will oversee an operating shift and work directly with Lead Operators for alternate shifts. Using Quality, HSE and Operational metrics, the production supervisor will ensure safe, high-quality and cost-effective product.

      Duties & Accountabilities

      • Operation of the compression molding production line and oversee Operators that support the production line operation and packaging of the product
      • Trouble shoot equipment issues and schedule maintenance to ensure equipment readiness
      • Plan production runs based on inventory levels and forecast demand
      • Maintain inventory counts and generate PR any needed materials or tools
      • Manage production team members time and attendance, vacation or other time off, coaching and development, IIF and HSE goals using a variety of systems and tools including Velocity, ADP, LMS, 5S, DMP and any applicable Quality systems tools
      • Develop SOP and HAA and ensures team members receive proper training
      • Engages and participates outside support and training as required
      • Manages employees by checking product to conformance to requirements
      • Directly involved in formal problems solving initiatives and leads improvements projects

      Skills and Qualifications

      • 3-5 years supervisor experience, including proven ability to lead and mentor a team
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Self-motivated
      • Able to solve problems and think logically
      • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
      • Moderate to advanced computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
