      Production Supervisor

      Location: Sultan, WA

      Pay: $35.05-47/hr, based on experience

      Shift: 2:30 PM - 1 AM, M-Th

      Job Description

      As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the department workforce, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for meeting productivity goals, coaching and developing personnel, and enforcing company policies fairly and consistently. Additionally, you will help establish and meet departmental budgets, requisition consumables, and ensure operator-performed equipment maintenance is done according to documented standards.

      Responsibilities

      • Oversee department workforce.
      • Maintain a safe work environment with the goal of having zero work-related injuries.
      • Ensure quality standards are met according to established and documented procedures.
      • Manufacture according to the production system.
      • Meet stated productivity goals.
      • Understand and follow the concepts of the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.
      • Coach, train, and develop personnel.
      • Help establish and meet departmental budgets.
      • Enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
      • Requisition consumables and other materials.
      • Ensure operator-performed equipment maintenance is done according to documented standards.
      • Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations.
      • Communicate personnel concerns to Director of Operations and/or Human Resources.
      • Assist Human Resources in the interviewing and hiring process.
      • Assist other departments with various duties and projects.
      • Fill-in on the shop floor as necessary.
      • Attend required meetings.

      Essential Skills

      • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
      • 2+ years of shop floor working experience as an Assistant Supervisor or Lead, or 4+ years of similar outside workplace experience.
      • Ability to lead, coach, and delegate.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills.
      • Good typing skills.
      • Basic math skills.
      • Experience with MS Office.
      • Possess or can obtain a CPR and Industrial First Aid certificate.
      • Able to use various gauges and measuring instruments as necessary.
      • Possess at least a limited blueprint reading ability.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Theory of Constraints.
      • Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
      • APICS and/or managerial education.
      • Experience with Oracle.

      The work environment includes a shop floor setting with exposure to machinery and equipment. You will be expected to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear. The role requires meeting all company work schedule and attendance expectations.

      The pay range for this position is $72904.00 - $108284.00/yr.
