Job Description

- Supervise all H&S Meetings and co-ordinate Risk Assessment completion
- Motivate and develop the Team Leaders by setting individual and departmental objectives to encourage the achievement of goals
- Identify skills gaps and initiate recruitment and training as appropriate
- Decide the daily departmental production plan with the Team Leaders & Planning department to achieve agreed service levels and outbound vehicle times
- Communicate, cross functionally, to resolve operating problems and drive continuous process improvement across the department
- Manage materials usage
- Monitor and manage as appropriate, compliance with Compass policies, procedures, and specifications (including Technical, HR and Health & Safety policies) to achieve food safety standards, controlled and well-managed department
- Plan all departmental labor usage to manage costs to agreed targets
- Prepare and organize the departments for internal and external visitors, effectively promoting the site
- Communicate any Engineering issues to ensure a timely resolution, enabling agreed maintenance and prevention & OEE targets.
- Monitor and sustain site security and confidentiality at all times
- Proven successful leadership of a production line or team
- Knowledge and experience of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Knowledge and experience of Best Management practice
- Ability to obtain product knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication, as well as strong understanding of numbers and data
Working Title: Production Supervisor
Employment Status: Full-Time

New Hire Schedule: Start: 5am-8am, 8 hour shift, Sunday to Friday. Friday is a shorter day
