- The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
- Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
- Checking to make sure their team is doing quality checks, Client allocation at the beginning of the day, time keeping, managing up and down time events, following up with team making sure they are on task for repairs and making sure they are at rate.
- Lean manufacturing certificates, that’s a huge plus, but not a requirement.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of automotive manufacturing experience
- Problem solving, continuous improvement knowledge.
- Looking for someone that has good communication, collaborate teamwork, can make decisive decisions
- Automotive experience is REQUIRED
