Job Description

- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training employees and providing developing personal growth opportunities.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answers questions and responding to requests.
- Ensure that processes and procedures are followed and updated in order to maintain the quality standards needed to meet ISO objectives.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintains compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Works with the Operations Manager to develop key reporting measures on all critical operational issues.
- Maintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Addresses and improve ergonomic issues that may reside within areas of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Applied Sciences required. Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred

5+ years of Manufacturing experience required.

5+ years of Production Supervisory experience preferred.

5+ years of knowledge in a computerized environment of material requirement planning, bills of material structure and their impact on inventory and master scheduling preferred.
- Must be a good communicator, work well with people, and be able to work in a fast paced, continually changing/improving environment.

Summary of Position
Production Supervisor will be responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising personnel, activities, equipment, and material to ensure that all customer orders are delivered on a timely basis. Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action. Analyzes and assists with the development and use of reports on operation methods, processes, equipment and facilities in light of current operational needs and future strategic objectives. Researches, develops and formalizes strategic operational plans that effect the manufacture, transfer and distribution of quality products to customers.
