We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Production Tech for our Onshore Resources & Carbon Management, EOR asset. This position will be located in Andrews, TX. Essential Job Duties: The primary responsibility is the interactions with Well Analysts, Inject Well Controller/Pump Off Controller technicians, and Lift Specialists to maximize production capacity. Collaborates daily to determine producing well exceptions and performs diagnostics to return wells to production. · Equipment and facility isolation (Lock/out Tag/out) as needed · Maintain Company vehicle – inspect and maintain maintenance schedule. · Complete Maximo vehicle inspection sheet on time. · Issue Safe Work Permits as needed. · Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks as required · Report Spills and Call in Corrosion Damage Reports (CDR) · Spot Lines for excavation as needed. · Perform/Maintain Housekeeping on Facilities and Wells · Engage Well Analyst and coordinate Well Testing to ensure we get a valid well test for every active well every 30 days · Ensure that the Sum of the Well Test and the Daily LACT sales are within 10% of each other. · Problem Solve Invalid Well Test by working in conjunction with AT/WA/Eng. · Input data into E-Vin, LOWIS, MAXIMO as required · Check BS&W content to maintain good oil · Coordinate monthly allowable · Check sample pot pressure and levels on LACT daily · Prepare for and Participate in Production, Safety and Business meetings. · Monitor Automation systems to ensure safe and efficient operations of the wells and facilities · Provide input on Downtime to WA. · Ensure that Downtime is captured correctly for the area assigned to the lease operator. · Check and maintain oil levels on ALL air compressors · Wellhead o Visual inspection (routine) o Check and maintain back pressure valves o Repair minor leaks o Stuffing boxes (grease and repack) o Inspect Piping o Coordinate major work o Cleanup minor spills o Shoot fluid levels on Beam wells with run times of 24 hours – monthly · Pumping Unit o Visual Inspection ((i.e. belts, guards, leaks) o Check and maintain oil levels on air compressors o Report spills, cleanup minor spills o Coordinate replacement of pumping unit belts · Flowlines o Repair minor leaks o Call in spills, contain spill, cleanup minor spills o Coordinate change out of flowline valves o Monitor and Maintain pressure switches · ESPs o Visual Inspection o Maintain back pressure valves o Shoot fluid levels on ESP’s without a downhole sensor – monthly · Facilities o Visual inspection / housekeeping o Check vessel levels, pressures, switches, valves (perform <30 minute repairs) o Check pumps (seals, maintain oil levels) o Minor repairs- including clean meters and sight glasses o Check air compressors and backup system(s) daily o Verify and troubleshoot alarms o Maintain chemical pumps (surfactant, demulsifiers) o Check and maintain oil levels on air compressors o Input production eVin data for LACT and hand run facilities o Evaluate the elimination or consolidation of stationary and rotary equipment and offer suggestions on how to streamline operations o Review and optimize surface chemical variance reports and water quality. o Monitor residue gas usage and gas sales of leases o Skim Water tanks o Conduct HES Audits on Facilities on a routine basis o Know the condition and status of equipment and show “ownership” of the equipment. o Maintain VRU’s, Reduce Flaring events (Expected to know how long before a flaring event becomes reportable to the TCEQ). o Notify Regulatory personnel ASAP or at least within 24 hrs of the time a flaring event startsAbout the company
