      Description

      Please Note: This is a night shift position with a Sun-Wed 8:00 PM-6:00 AM schedule.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring the smooth and safe production of materials that make a difference.

      Key Duties:

      • Safely handle, transport, and process materials using equipment such as overhead cranes, fork trucks, and other mobile devices.
      • Operate equipment crucial to the production process, supporting various operational areas.
      • Utilize a range of specialized equipment to create high-quality materials.
      • Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily housekeeping.
      • Embrace flexibility by undertaking assigned tasks to contribute to the team's success.

      Qualifications


      Basic Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or GED.

      Preferences:

      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and understand work instructions.
      • Basic computer proficiency and aptitude for math calculations.
      • Prior experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is advantageous.
      • Familiarity with metal processing techniques is a plus.
      • Ability to read and understand production travelers, work instructions and operating procedures.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Capable of walking, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling as required.
      • Comfortable working in a challenging industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold conditions.
