- Has a key responsibility in supporting (diabetic testing strips) packaging.
- Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the packaging of testing strips.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
- Assisting with packaging and labeling vials and finished products.
- Operating and monitoring machinery and performing cleaning of machine as needed.
- Loading boxes, vials, and pamphlets into machines to be packaged and distributed with products.
- Lift and carry products and materials to QC area, recycling, trash or other areas.
- Use pallet jack to move material and product on pallets for other areas and place in a staging area.
- Audit the packaged material.
- Performing quality control measures on incoming components. Inspect all parts, orders, and equipment for quality/safety.
- Individual responsibility for personal and area safety.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Build boxes for product. Performs final close of boxes which includes scanning for content.
- Palatalizing goods for transport, preparing and shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.
- Transporting pallets of products from line 10 or line 12 areas to kanban area.
- Completing paperwork duties, as needed.
- Rework – 2,000 – 5,000 pieces in a day.
- 1 Year of Experience
- Machine Operator skills
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience in GMP environment
- Experience in ISO environment
- GED or High School Diploma
