Your mission

In this position, you’re responsible for the Tools Production Unit (PU) in Gimo. Based on our roadmap, you ensure timely delivery of world class products, produced in the most cost effective and sustainable way – always with our customers in focus. You lead and develop the PU with approximately 250 professionals, eager to be the best in class and a role model in lean, automated- and digital processes. You stimulate your team to continuously improve the safety, health, environmental and collaborative aspects to develop a high performing team, where diversity and inclusion is seen as one of the key factors for success. You’re part of, and work closely with, the members of the management team, covering a variety of functions, engaged to improve profitability and Coromant market share.

You report to the Global Director of Tools Production. The location for this position is Gimo, Sweden, where you’re a present and involved mentor.

Your profile

We’re looking for a result-oriented and aspiring improver with a solid manufacturing background. You have several years’ experience in leading an organization, people and change. We value your ability to inspire people and utilize the potential of technology, know-how and collaboration to meet and exceed set expectations. Your knowledge is backed by a relevant university degree within production or engineering. Knowledge and experience in cemented carbide, the metalworking industry or cutting tools is advantageous. Working in an international environment, you need excellent communication skills in English.
