Job Description

- Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:
- Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
- Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
- Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
- Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns
- Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Ability to meet strict attendance guidelines (with or without an accommodation)
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others
- Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment
- Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis (with or without an accommodation)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field

Pay
$18.47 - $19.19 / hour
Plus shift premium of $1.00 / hour for 2nd shift OR $2.00 / hour for 3rd shift
Schedule
2nd Shift
Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (other days and hours as needed)
OR
3rd Shift
Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (other days and hours as needed)
Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Collegedale, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Worker, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:
