      FSLA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

      DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION

      REPORTS TO: JUSTIN AVENELL

      Job Summary:

      Production Worker I:

      This position is responsible for doing general labor work on the production line doing multiple functions.

      Essential Functions of the Job:

      • Boxing and labeling of products
      • Inspection of products
      • Weighing cartons and products
      • Loading products onto production lines
      • Counting products
      • Check date codes to ensure accuracy
      • Perform quality checks
      • Read and interpret documents as they apply to production
      • Operate simple mechanical equipment
      • Follow company GMP’s (good manufacturing practices) and all other quality programs as they relate to the production department
      • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required
      • Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized
      • Strictly adhere to all Safety policies
      • Committed to ensuring that the products produced meet all food safety and quality requirements

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      None

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High School or equivalent

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Manufacturing experience is preferred.

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Ability to use critical thinking to plan and problem-solve.

      Work Environment/Physical Demands:

      Approximately; 100% of work is performed in a manufacturing facility which is not climate controlled and may contain allergens. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.
