      The Acoustic & Vibration Group is designated as the “Center of Excellence” for noise and vibration control at Bombardier. The group’s mandate is to optimize the cabin noise, the vibration environment and exterior noise development of our aircraft.
      In your role, you will:
      • Provide engineering support to the Acoustic focals for Bombardier’s product lines
      • Troubleshoot noise and vibration issues in support to Production, Delivery and Service Centers
      • Develop custom engineered acoustic solution to address specific customer requirements
      • Maintain & develop accurate noise and vibrations prediction tools
      • Optimize noise reduction treatments through modeling and testing
      • Contribute to Research and Development projects in the field of acoustic and vibrations
      • Produce ground, flight or laboratory test plans
      • Perform acoustics and vibration ground and flight tests
      • Analyze acoustics and vibration test data and produce technical engineering reports
      • Support Sales with cabin noise evaluations and guarantees based on cabin specifications
      • Support new aircraft studies
      • Develop acoustic and vibration requirements for product improvements

      As our ideal candidate,
      • You have experience or interest in Acoustics and Vibration.
      • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering/sciences
      • Master’s degree in Acoustics and Vibration is an asset
      • You have knowledge in acoustic and vibration testing or modeling (ex. FEM, SEA, CAA, Ray Tracing)
      • You have a good knowledge in Matlab and/or VBA scripting (or equivalent)
      • You possess strong interpersonal skills
      • You have good communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written
      • You possess up to 5 years of relevant experience
      • You are available to travel on short term assignments
