What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for internal and external professional coding specialists
- Perform onboarding audits and training for newly hired coding specialists
- Communicate quality issues and assist in implementing quality improvement action plans
- Maintain reports on accuracy rates and respond to client quality assurance needs
- Provide educational sessions and coding support to consultants and clients as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
- Minimum of 4 years of coding experience required; specialty experience may be preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of auditing experience preferred
- Extensive education and training in 2021 Evaluation and Management guidelines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
