What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Financial Institutions accounts to drive profitable growth
- Apply underwriting concepts including risk selection, exposure identification, and loss analysis
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve financial goals such as profitability and retention
- Build and maintain relationships with agents and clients to enhance sales and retention
- Utilize internal and external data to make informed underwriting decisions and manage risk
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-7+ years of experience in Financial Institutions with a focus on asset managers
- Proven ability to manage agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external business partners
- Ability to exercise judgment and make sound business decisions based on authority level
