      Axis Canada is looking for a technical Professional Services Intern to gain hands-on experience in our Axis Experience Centre (AEC) in Mississauga, ON for a winter internship.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Complete designs, layouts, and bill of materials for security equipment to assist the sales organization using design tools.

      • Become familiar with Axis products and solutions via digital and hands-on learning (video surveillance, body-worn cameras, access control and audio solutions, intercoms and training services); be able to select the correct product for each application.

      • Work with Systems & Solutions Engineer to identify tools and processes to gain efficiency and accuracy in the design process.

      • Job shadow other Professional Services roles to gain a complete understanding of the team’s capabilities.

      • Assist with regular maintenance of the AEC by updating, installing, and configuring new products and technologies.

      • Provide general support for ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.

      • Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders

      What You’ll Need…

      • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology programs

      • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

      • Experience with AutoCAD or Visio is an asset

      • Prior internship experience is an asset
