- Req#: 7749
- Undertake all aspects of investigations into police actions as required, ensuring compliance with legislation, identified guidelines and standards.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of Criminal or misconduct proceedings in line with appropriate guidelines.
- Liaise with the IPCC, Crown Prosecution Service and other agencies regarding investigations and other relevant issues.
- Ability to undertake complex criminal/internal investigations into issues of integrity and corruption including gathering and presenting information.
- Knowledge of Police and Criminal Evidence Act and Police Conduct Regulations.
- Experience in a role requiring the use of investigation skills in dispute/conflict resolution, crime-related or Human Resource areas.
- Experience in a role managing a high workload, prioritising work to meet deadlines while showing a flexible approach to changing demands.

Leicestershire Police are looking to recruit a Professional Standards Investigator on a full-time permanent basis, located at Tigers Road, Leicester. In this role you will work to resolve situations which may potentially lead to criminal offences or disciplinary action.

Salary - £34,329 - £38,754
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
