- Coordinate review and development of centralized process documents. Maintenance of resources.
- Maintenance and support for Fred Hutch’s faculty management software and system (Interfolio) module Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) for faculty CV data, including training and support for Research Administrators tasked with updating faculty CV data.
- Manage the implementation of Interfolio Review, Promotion, and Tenure Module.
- Schedule and support regular meetings with division faculty affairs staff. Assist with the project management of group initiatives.
- Maintenance of policies, procedures, and templates that support the successful career advancement of Fred Hutch faculty and scientific staff at the Center level.
- Representing the Office of Central Faculty Affairs / Academic & Scientific Personnel as skilled in collaborative, cross-functional initiatives and projects and process implementation where appropriate.
- Maintain electronic personnel files in a consistent manner.
- Develop, with direction, and maintain tracking for Fred Hutch scientific staff.
- Assist with preparing faculty and scientific staff reports.
- Partner with Director’s Office staff to develop content as requested for Faculty Event coordination and organization.
- Maintain accurate resources on CenterNet (intranet) for faculty, scientific personnel, and administrative staff.
- Provide both routine and non-routine administrative support, handling competing administrative task requests (via multiple clients) that require professional discernment on appropriate urgency/prioritization to complete.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of administrative management experience in a research or academic setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level knowledge of Microsoft applications - specifically Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Interfolio modules, and/or WorkDay
- Experience with Human Resources or Academic/Faculty Affairs in a research/academic setting
- Knowledge and familiarity with University of Washington School of Medicine
- Able to manage successful working relationships with a wide variety of collaborators
- Experience facilitating and building consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work toward a solution
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.

The Program Administrative Manager will facilitate projects and other initiatives as assigned by the Office of Central Faculty Affairs. The role interacts closely with the Director’s Office executives and staff, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, faculty, and other internal and external partners. The responsibilities associated it this role require discretion and sound judgment due to the confidential nature of the projects and information involved.
The position requires someone proactive, focused, self-directed, and able to engage in and manage initiatives independently, along with balancing multiple work activities, while ensuring the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Office of Central Faculty Affairs.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $72,946 to $109,408, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
