- Evaluate funding execution compared to budget through analysis of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting, continuing dialogue with teammates and industry partners, review of written documents, and examination of accounting records.
- Monitor and track programmatic obligations and expenditures for assigned activity accounts on related budgetary forms, schedules, and reports.
- Ensure accuracy of budget data estimates by use of various modeling techniques and trend analysis of historical data.
- Analyze spend plans and budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
- Communicate with BMD Chief and other stakeholders on the status and availability of funds in different budget accounts within the program.
- Verify that obligations and expenditures occur on a timely basis in accordance with the annual spend plan and regulatory controls; and are within amounts programmed.
- Monitor current year execution plans, report any variances, and recommend solutions in order to meet OSD obligation and disbursement goals.
- Perform other related budget and finance administrative management functions and tasks.
- Submit and brief monthly budget reports to leadership.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
- Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least three (3) year’s budget/financial Army program experience.
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces at APG.

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
