      This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies.       Duties


      • You will assess the overall health of the Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) by conducting end-to-end assessments; identifying trends, evaluating risks, and assessing the effectiveness of mitigation measures and corrective actions.
      • You will oversee and standardize to the maximum extent practical assessments of the readiness and sustainability of the NNDM.
      • You will serve as a liaison between the NNDM Oversight Office's liaison between the Director, Naval Nuclear Weapons Program (CNO N00NW) and other NNDM Component Commands (Secretariat, Echelon 1 and 2, and Type Commanders).
      • You will serve as the primary assistant to CNO N00NW in the role of Executive Secretary of the NNDM Oversight Council (NNDMOC); establishing the agenda and driving actions assigned at this 3-star forum.
      • You will lead the overarching NNDM Oversight Office effort and monitor staff analyst performance to ensure synchronization of efforts in exercising oversight of NNDM Component Commands.
      • You will oversee contractor support budgets, including related contract performance management functions

      Requirements


      • Must be a US Citizen.
      • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

      • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
      • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
      • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
      • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

      Qualifications


      Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading teams that contribute to the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM); performing program assessment that supports senior leadership decision making; and/or planning, organizing, and facilitating teamwork
