Job Description

- Supervision of Field or Gym
- Responsible for setup and cleanup before and after practice/games
- Officiate games in younger age groups that do not have certified officials
- Assist in the teaching of clinics and camps
- Help out at special events implemented by the YMCA
- 16 years of age
- General knowledge in sports
- Understanding of the YMCA’s principles of Youth Development
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Carrying, sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking, running and lifting

Under Supervision of the Program/Sports Director and consistent with the mission of the YMCA, the Program Assistant is responsible for supervision of athletic facilities in and out of the YMCA during program time. Other responsibilities include score-keeping and officiating of Youth Sports, assisting volunteer coaches, and setup/cleanup of activities.
