Facility: Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (Sewell)
Reports To: Director
SUMMARY
RISN offers primary care services to individuals ages 18+ with childhood onset physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities with embedded behavioral health and care coordination services.
Under direction, assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of grant programs within the RISN. Provides administrative and program support to the Practice Administrator, Project Director, Principal Investigator, faculty, and other professional staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares comprehensive reports, presentations, and official correspondence. Responds to inquiries as directed and distributes informational materials according to university policy and practice.
Ensures efficient staffing and contributes to the recruitment, retention, motivation, and development of staff at all levels.
Assists with the preparation of grant proposals. Gathers and organizes documents, prepares bio-sketches from resumes, produces tables and spreadsheets for inclusion, edits drafts and final version.
Coordinates fiscal procedures and maintains records associated with grant accounts and state budgets. Tracks budgets for programs and ensures funds are utilized according to policy and regulations. Compiles necessary data and justification for projected expenditures.
Responsible for coordinating the monthly project calendar, including conferences, seminars, program site meetings, workshops, etc.
Prepares reports and spreadsheets containing findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations as requested.
Oversees implementation of administrative decisions and the maintenance of official records of program and related committee activities.
Understands and adheres to RowanSOM compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Keeps abreast of all federal, state and Rowan University regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related discipline, plus one (1) year of related experience in a business office, government agency or university setting required. Experience with grants and coordination of grants required.
Experience may range from 0-2 years based on the grade level assigned.
