- Providing administrative support to program leaders and team members
- Providing back-up support to program delivery, outreach, admission, and operations team members
- Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
- Editing, preparing, and planning program and/or course material
- Corresponding and coordination of course materials on Learning Management System
- Preparing correspondence using templates; preparing invoices using templates
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Resolving minor complaints within the scope of the role and referring larger issues when appropriate
- College Certificate or equivalent, or acceptable combination of equivalent educationand experience
- Minimum two (2) years experience with at least one year in an academic setting
- Experience in supporting delivery of online programs using Learning Management Systems and webinar platforms like Zoom, Adobe Connect and Webex
- Effective oral and written communication to obtain and relay information accurately
- High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
- Strong customer service orientation
- Exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with others, dealing courteously and effectively with people
- Working effectively and accurately under pressure of high volume and frequent interruptions; ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills including ability to set priorities, proactively pursue completion of tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple programs and/or priorities simultaneously
- Ability to anticipate next steps and work proactively
- Embraces diversity and fosters inclusion
- Our programs are delivered in the evenings and on Saturdays and the Program Assistant will be required to work these hours depending on program needs

The Intercultural Skills Lab (ISL) promotes the development ofintercultural competence to create teams that are engaged, inclusive and transformative. Our signature program Business Edge has supported the critical skills development and career advancement of Internationally educated professionals since 2009. Since then, our programs and services have grown to off er a blend of on -campus and digital learning in five key areas: communication, intercultural competency, leadership, sector-specific training, and career growth.
As the Program Assistant, you will support ISL’s goal of providing top tier professional development programs for internationally educated professionals, and its strategy of building a portfolio of customer-focused hybrid learning. You will be responsible for all activities relatedto planning and delivering programs both online and in-person.
