      What you will do:

      We are looking for a Program Content Specialist like you who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the day-to-day functions will look like:

      • Develops and authors accurate, high-quality and consistent communication content for distribution to a variety of audiences, both internal and external. Authors required reports to meet the needs of CoA’s various contract deliverables with the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), and other required reports that may arise either in an ad hoc manner or as part of future contract reporting.
      • Develops and authors compelling and accurate written material—such as one-pagers, white papers, informal reports—that help to underscore CoA’s operational and strategic value within the spheres the company occupies.
      • Collaborates closely with multiple and varied internal teams to ensure that information presented is timely, essential, effective, and accurate.
      • Works as a part of larger communications team to help clarify CoA’s narrative themes and best approaches to propagating stories of CoA’s unique value—both internally and externally.
      • Works as part of a larger team to develop and author accurate and compelling responses to RFPs and other business opportunities.
      • Effectively interprets and translates quantitative data into reporting narrative. Provides quality assurance oversight for data in contract reports to review for accuracy and reasonability. Proactively escalates errors and concerns in a timely manner to key stakeholders for immediate resolution.
      • Supports the workload of the Health Programs Reporting Manager and other Health Programs colleagues.
      • The position will work with appropriate CoA staff to develop written and visual materials that highlight CoA’s strategic narrative, including but not limited to, PowerPoint slides and presentations, informational one-pagers and posters, ad-hoc reports and summaries, other informational materials that require unified narrative and design.
      • Cultivates and manages a process for collecting source material from disparate CoA teams and staff and identify materials that are appropriate for inclusion in the Content Hub
      • Provides graphic design for program communication materials. Ensures integrity with source material, to create and foster unified and accessible messaging and style for CoA program presentations and communication materials.
      • Consults with CoA staff and teams to develop concepts and determine design solutions to meet programmatic needs and effectively communicate with target audiences.
      • Works with program and IT staff to develop platforms and methods that make materials easily accessible and retrievable for CoA staff and teams.
      • Works closely with CoA Strategic Communications staff to ensure alignment of Content Hub materials with marketing and other communications materials.

      What you will bring:

      Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, communications or health-related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for six years progressive relevant work experience.

      Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in written communications work required, including professional experience in drafting reports for business operations and/or marketing platforms, preferably within a health care environment. Experience in health plan operations and Colorado Medicaid a plus.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation development skills. Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to manage changing priorities and direction from the executive level. Will be required to manage complex assignments, multiple priorities and projects and collaborate with other staff to meet tight deadlines and contractual requirements. Ability to be a systems thinker; always willing to explore what steps to take next. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, including data sorts, graphs, and calculations required. Microsoft Access and project management experience preferred.

      Licenses/Certifications : A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

      Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:

      The compensation for this position is $61,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually. The pay rate/salary is commensurate with experience.

      Where you will work:

      This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’
