Have clear understanding about programs that are supported by you, especially the financial aspects of program performance (full life cycle, from Bid and Proposal to Contract Close Out).
Understand forecast assumptions as well as Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast variance analysis.
Be a business partner to operations team by providing invaluable analytics, guidance and reporting to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines
Be proactive. Provide timely updates to your PMs, CAs, SCAs, and other team-members
Build, maintain and manage forecasting models (EACs/ETCs). Gather inputs from project and program managers. Advise how various scenarios of possible operational decisions affect contract revenue, DL, profit, remaining funding, subcontractor funding, and other financial and contractual aspects
Meet accounting Close Cycle deadlines (e.g. review and update accruals; review and prepare financial data for billing)
Understand and explain Unbilled and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) analysis with proactive actions to monitor, improve or maintain
Provide pricing and Bases of Estimate) BOE support for add-ons or modifications to current programs
Manage, maintain, and monitor subcontractor funding and expenditures
Prepare various reports for internal stakeholders in a cross-functional team
Provide any ad hoc financial analysis as required
Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned
US citizenship is required
Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 2+ years of related (project support or management) experience
Experience in financial planning and analysis, project planning and control, forecasting, indirect rate management, and variance analysis
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including use of PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and various other functions
Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Workday highly recommended
Government contracting experience preferred

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery,
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
