What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide programmatic, financial, and administrative support for the Communities and Governance practice
- Assist with subgrant and contractual management, including drafting subawards and monitoring plans
- Monitor programmatic and financial progress of subawardees, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational requirements
- Support program monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and reporting
- Communicate directly with subgrantees, consultants, vendors, and local partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Dari, Persian (Farsi), or Tajik required; proficiency in English required
- Proven administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with project partners, consultants, and/or beneficiaries
- Knowledge of US Government requirements for grant-funded programs
- Experience developing and/or delivering trainings
- Interest or experience in civil society, gender equality, human rights, or civic engagement topics
- Study, work, or living experience abroad, preferably in the Middle East, East Asia, or Near East
