      The person in this position will serve as a point of contact for the South Carolina Occupational Information System (SCOIS) within their assigned geographic coverage area. Responsible for conducting both in-person and virtual training sessions for site administrators, school counselors, and career development facilitators (CDFs). Assist school personnel in resolving system concerns and maintaining technical support log while providing great customer service. Work alongside SCOIS Director to represent department at conferences and interagency events in which SCOIS is involved.

      This position is located in the Office of Career and Technical Education. A high school diploma and relevant program experience.Bachelor's degree. Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Certification required. Will be allowed to obtain Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Certification within one year. Valid driver’s license required. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom are essential. Ability to conduct trainings at workshops and conferences for career development/career counseling professionals. Experience utilizing College and Career Readiness Platforms (CCRPs) to provide career development products and services. Knowledge of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and integration in K-12 education (Career and Technical Education/CTE).
