- Previous experience in public sector or social services.
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate complex administrative projects, such as technology rollouts or service process improvements.
- Familiarity with project management tools and approaches, including tracking milestones and deliverables.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams and providing technical support/training to end users.
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Proven ability to streamline administrative workflows and implement effective office procedures.
- Previous experience in coordinating reception services or frontline operations in a service-based environment.

San Mateo County Health is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Program Coordinator I – Aging & Disability Services (Limited Term).
Under general supervision, the Program Coordinator I will provide essential administrative and technical support for Administrative and Financial Services (AFSU) unit within Aging & Disability Services (ADS). This role is responsible for coordinating activities and events within ADS, fostering collaboration between program units and other County departments, and providing direct staff support to ADS management. Additional responsibilities may include special projects, process improvements, and other related duties as assigned.
The current vacancy is a limited term - full-time vacancy. The length of the assignment is expected to be up to 3 years. This position is currently located in San Mateo, CA.
