- Collaborate with the Course Director(s) and Coordinators to plan, design, and coordinate block/course sessions for Transition to Clerkships Intersessions courses, as well as the Medical Education Distinction Track.
- Provide team back-up to other clinical education programs, supporting Transitions to Residency electives, Residency Bootcamp, and the Leadership and Innovation in Healthcare Distinction Track.
- Work as a partner with the other team Program Coordinator, Seniors to assist with clinical education tasks including, but not limited to: Shelf Exam proctoring for clerkships, facilitating committee meetings (scheduling, agenda, meeting materials) for the Tucson Clinical Curriculum Subcommittee (TCCS), creating and updating annual clerkship program materials (handbooks, syllabi, tracking spreadsheets), updating tracking of clerkship compliance processes (i.e. student logbooks, block check lists, mid-clerkship feedback reports), and Curriculum Mapping.
- Assist in updating managed courses on MedLearn, facilitating correct Learning Objectives and Faculty association.
- Collaborate with the MedLearn IT team to continue to improve the processes for clinical education courses; followed by ongoing updates and maintenance.
- Provide reports that facilitate the review/assessment of current clerkship standing for annual requirements as outlined by LCME.
- Manage and improve current practices of maintaining compliance through annual Curricular Affairs requirements, using resources like Qualtrics.
- Support faculty, staff, and educational leadership in understanding what it takes to maintain compliance for both faculty and students.
- Oversee and manage the faculty title process, including tracking, creating, and collecting all materials required to obtain a faculty title.
- Actively pursue opportunities to continue to enhance efficient tracking and compliance initiatives.
- Ability to independently research policies and protocols at national and U of A levels as needed for reports, LCME accreditation documentation, and updates to medical education materials that are under the auspices of clinical education and/or scholarly project.
- Ability to quickly learn new platforms for managing medical education; MedLearn, Oasis, MyClinicalExchange, and New Innovations experience is plus.
- Demonstrated ability to triage and prioritize tasks with minimal direction.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in organizing and managing timelines and materials for department projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Three (3) years of relevant work experience is required.
- Advanced experience in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in an academic medicine setting.
- Experience liaising and communicating across all levels of hierarchy in a multi-department organization.

This role will lead compliance initiatives and course management during the clinical phase of the curriculum. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Competency, the Program Coordinator, Senior will also provide coordination and support to Block Directors, facilitators, and medical students during the clinical curriculum (e.g., Transitions to Clerkship, Transition to Residency Bootcamp, Intersessions I and II. The position also provides administrative support for multiple Distinction Tracks.
This role collaborates with the Clinical Curriculum team to assist in curriculum management, compliance reporting, data tracking, and monitoring.
