- To be successful, the Program Director must be an initiative-taking leader with demonstrated experience in driving results through a matrix organization.
- Manage the development and implementation of a selection of Enterprise Southern California’s preservation, production, and other capital solutions initiatives.
- Manage delivery of technical assistance to affordable housing developers, community-based organizations, and public agencies building and preserving rental homes across the region.
- Manage pass-through grants to affordable housing developers, including development and coordination of grant documents, and ongoing grant performance tracking.
- Shepherd Enterprise Southern California's ongoing relationship-building and programmatic development aimed at increasing preservation and housing production capacity with local affordable housing developers, community-based organizations, financing entities, and public agencies.
- With Enterprise Community Loan Fund and local financing partners, support the deployment of capital finance solutions to affordable housing developers.
- Collaborate and coordinate with local and national Enterprise staff engaged in racial equity and equitable lending initiatives.
- Manage technical assistance, which will include organizing, curriculum creation and delivery of trainings and webinars, engaging consultants, creating presentations/proposals for local peer networks, internal and external audiences.
- Responsible for scoping, memorializing, and tracking pass-through grants, advisory services engagements, and consulting contracts.
- Ensure consulting contract deliverables are met and manages consultant budgets.
- Develops relationships with external consultants and training partners.
- Tracks, manages intake, and updates communications/inquiries from new potential developer partners.
- Assist with the collection and reporting of KPIs and impact data.
- Oversee the input and accuracy of data management (Salesforce Lightning).
- Prepares meeting agendas and manages coordination for internal and external partners for in-person and virtual meetings.
- Collaborates with senior leadership and resource development staff to prepare funder proposals and reports.
- Undergraduate degree required in urban planning, business, or real estate. Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of six (6) years experience in banking/ finance, real estate, nonprofit, real estate development, or relevant field.; Advanced degree may substitute up to two (2) years of experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and racial equity.
- Experience in the low-income affordable housing sector with knowledge of charitable organizations, affordable housing developers and local municipalities are highly desired.
- Familiarity with the community development field and key players.
- Ability to assess customer needs and define customer requirements to generate innovative solutions.
- Experience with analyzing data and information, including developer capacity and project proformas, to make critical decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead colleagues through effective planning and organizing, decision making, and evaluating.
- Demonstrated record of efficient use of fiscal resources.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments, meet tight deadlines, coordinate, and communicate effectively among widely dispersed parties and cultivate new relationships.
- Proven record of results orientation.
- Initiative-taking, able to work independently and solve problems.

Job Description Summary
Enterprise Southern California seeks a Program Director, Capital Solutions & Partnerships to help implement and manage multiple projects advancing our regional affordable housing goals. The Program Director will work with the Southern California team, national Enterprise staff, local partners, and public agencies, and will be responsible for the development and implementation of development trainings, technical assistance, and resource deployments aimed at increasing affordable housing production and preservation. The role includes working with mission-minded developers, including BIPOC-led developers, and public agencies to develop preservation tools and provide technical assistance. Specific duties will include coordinating with a statewide and national preservation team at Enterprise to develop a regional preservation toolkit, planning convenings, and collaborating with local partners to identify, secure, and preserve unsubsidized rental properties in Southern California.
The successful candidate will be an initiative-taking analytical person who is highly organized, accountable, enjoys collaborating with people and has strong project management and relational skills. The candidate must possess the ability to work independently and as part of an effective and collaborative team. This candidate needs to be meticulous and eager to learn. The position requires organizational, computer and administrative skills, and the ability to perform a wide array of tasks in a high-performance environment with light supervision.Job Description

The base salary for this role is $95,000 to $100,000, depending on level of skills and experience.
The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
