Job Description
This is a manager role within the F-35 Production Program Management Office leading the Program Rate Readiness team. Responsibilities include:
• Build and lead cross-functional team/s to drive shared accountability, and mutual commitment to program delivery and objectives
• Plan, direct, and monitor program activities and budget while managing cost, quality and schedule for design, development, and integration
• Serve as a customer contact for program information, manage key relationships and host customer reviews
• Establish standards for performance and measuring progress towards goals
• Ensure that timely and accurate milestone reviews and routine reports are conducted on assigned projects, using these tools to expose risks and issues and develop action plans to mitigate risks and resolve issues
• Oversee functional areas during development to meet key deliverables
• Drive problem items to closure by developing and executing detailed actions plans
• Lead and/or guide escalations and communication on program status and issues to associates in technical, non-technical, and executive leadership functions
• Ensure risks, schedule, and budget impacts created or mitigated by changes are identified and managed
• Ensure that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, and all levels of management and documented appropriately
• Develop and implement recovery plans for troubled programsDesired skills
Knowledge of the aircraft production life cycle with a heavy focus on requirements stability.
Knowledge of requirements management and systems engineering.
Demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution, which may involve direct interaction with Senior leadership within Lockheed Martin and Customer organizations.
Operations experience in production, supply chain, and/or quality
Strong business acumen, including negotiation and conflict management skills
Presentation skills and ability to address complex issues & solutions with senior leadership

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
