- Assists in the preparation and conduct of user acceptance testing of new or modified information systems
- Participates in the analysis and development of new or revised UAT procedures and processes
- Assists in the preparation and conduct of UAT reviews and the development of test plans and test scripts
- Participates in the review of UAT procedures and processes and the development of UAT metrics for assessing the quality delivered systems
- Participates in the development of special testing requirements and procedures and in the review of new or modified business systems
- Assists in the preparation and conduct of Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new or modified applications/systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server)
- Participates in the analysis and development of new or revised QA procedures and processes
- Assists in the preparation and conduct of QA reviews and the development of test plans and test scripts
- Participates in the review of QA procedures and processes and the development of QA metrics for assessing the quality delivered application software or systems
- Participates in the development of special testing requirements and procedures and in the review of new or modified QA software
- Requires a broad knowledge experience with automated testing and modeling tools, and change management and test case generation techniques
- Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
- 2+ years of claims experience required.
- Broad knowledge/experience with automated testing and modeling tools, and change management and test case generation techniques required.
- nderstanding of premium billing, enrollment, fulfillment, reconciliation and employer group required.
- QNXT experience required.
- Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Medicaid/Medicare eligibility and benefits experience required.
- Documentation experience preferred.
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite experience required (advanced Excel required).
- Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio preferred.
- Experience in creating mock test files.
- Strong, clear, concise, and analytical written and oral communication skills.
This position is responsible for testing requirements as it relates to configuration or development changes to enrollment, premium billing, and fulfillment within the transactional systems used within the Service Operations teams (QNXT). These changes will be the result of business area requests stemming from production defects, system enhancements, internal audit results as well as projects and initiatives such as EGWP implementations, QNXT Upgrade and AEP annual configuration.

The individual in this role will be expected to work a standard 40 hour work week. This is a salaried position. The position will have the opportunity to be performed from home potentially multiple days per week. If the individual does work from home, the individual must maintain a secure working environment since the information may contain HIPPA compliance information. The individual must maintain a high speed internet connection for establishing a compliant VPN connection to the Cigna-HealthSpring network.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 60,600 - 101,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
