- The role has responsibility for the planning and execution of the production program, including manufacturing and supply chain planning and strategy, for Trident MK7 and Hypersonic guidance systems
- Communicating clear program objectives and goals across program areas and help ensure alignment with overall strategy and priorities.
- Developing detailed program plan for program area with clear timelines and milestones that is integrated with overall program plan and schedule.
- Driving program monitoring and control processes by developing and using appropriate data and metrics to measure program performance and facilitating the tracking of program status within area of responsibility.
- Ensuring compliance to internal policies, Trident program requirements, and quality management best practices.
- Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities within area of responsibility.
- Fostering collaboration and teamwork among program stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluating and improving program processes and outcomes within area of responsibility.
- Communication to complex technical topics to Navy and Draper leadership. Can identify risk and modify program plans accordingly to best utilize resources and budget
- Supporting weekly and monthly program reviews to status execution within program area.
- Developing and building team within program area by providing coaching, mentoring, and training as needed.
- Interfacing directly with our US Navy customer, Business Partners, Major and minor subcontractors and third tier vendors, as well as internal stakeholders to support program execution.
- BS or MS in relevant supply chain, manufacturing, Engineering or Science field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Significant expertise and experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing processes, contracts
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and program management best practices, including contracts, program planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals.
- Experience building relationships with leaders across an organization and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business’ current state and develop data-driven insights that can drive organizational-wide goals and strategies.
- Possesses excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Ability to be present in Draper Cambridge minimum 4 days/week
- Experience / working knowledge of handling Classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (Contract Security Requirements, DoD form 254).
- Experience and / or DAU training in proposal generation and cost estimating (Truth in Negotiations Act, etc.).
- Experience in Earned Value Management / Management Systems (DAU / PMP certification, current or past preferred).
- Experience / familiarity in establishing supplier / subcontractor Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Knowledge / experience with requirements for inventory management, transfer, valuation & control of government property.
- Familiarity with Contract / Subcontract Types & Applications – Fixed Price, Cost Plus & Derivatives
- Contract / Subcontract Fee & Incentives Application – DAU, FAR Weighted Guidelines, Balance of Fee & Incentives
- Working knowledge of Line of Balance manufacturing monitoring and control.
- Familiarity with MRL / TRL methodology and application.
- Generation and maintenance / support of Integrated Master Schedules (MS Project experience / skills preferred)
- Travel up to 50%, mainly continental US
- Must be US Citizen
- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security Government security clearance requires proof of US citizenship.
- Existing Top Secret Clearance preferred

Responsibilities
Advanced Production Program Manager for Strategic Systems
This Program Manager position will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for defining and executing the LE2 Production program. The program manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain processes, manufacturing plans and procedures, drive prototype transfers to vendors, and ramp product and subassemblies into production. Additionally, the program manager will be responsible for schedule, cost and monitoring program performance and execution to those plans, including identifying and addressing risks and issues as needed.
