      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Execute a positive labor and employee relations approach aligned with organizational strategic plans
      - Act as chief negotiator for union agreements and provide expert advice to leaders on union matters
      - Develop and implement labor and employee relations strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
      - Facilitate labor and employee relations training as required
      - Represent the employer at arbitration and board hearings as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of a Master's degree in industrial relations, law, human resources, or business administration
      - Minimum of 7 years of experience as a labor/employee relations manager in a large, multi-union environment
      - Experience as chief negotiator in collective bargaining and grievance/arbitration processes
      - Excellent knowledge of human resources practices in a unionized environment
      - Fluent understanding of relevant acts and statutes, including the Labour Relations Act and Employment Standards Act

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Post-graduate education or certification in labor and industrial relations
      - Proven ability to build trust and provide coaching and advising within the organization
      - Demonstrated experience in strategic and tactical problem-solving approaches
      - Ability to navigate conflict and engage stakeholders for continuous improvement
      - Commitment to fostering an inclusive and healthy organizational culture
